Schatz picks up support from key conservative leaders; continues momentum

SULLIVAN, Mo – Conservative businessman Dave Schatz, R-Sullivan, has continued building momentum since filing for the State Senate just three weeks ago.  Today, he announced the formation of his Family Values Coalition, a group of key conservative activist leaders from, both, St. Louis and Franklin counties.

“Family values are what make our communities strong,” Schatz said. “That is why I have been a tireless advocate for our shared conservative values, including defending life at every opportunity and standing up for the sanctity of marriage.  Too many career politicians like to say they defend our values but their actions suggest otherwise. I am proud of my record of defending our values, 100 percent of the time.”

The Schatz for Senate Family Values Coalition includes key conservative leaders from, both, St. Louis and Franklin counties.  The members of the coalition are:

Robbie Brouk, former campaign manager for Senator Brian Nieves
Senator Jim Lembke, former conservative St. Louis County State Senator
Lois Linton, former Missouri Eagle Forum State Director
Rep. Bill Linton, former conservative St. Louis County State Representative
Bill Federer, St. Louis County author, historian, and conservative leader
Tony Pousosa, Republican candidate for St. Louis County Executive
John Judd, St. Louis County conservative activist and Republican Committeeman
Earlene Judd, former St. Louis County State Representative and conservative activist
Super Dave Day, host of SuperDave conservative radio show
Kathie Zuroweste, Franklin conservative activist
Jennifer Bird, St. Louis County conservative and Republican State Committeewoman
Fritzie Alferman, Executive Director of Pregnancy Resource Center of Washington
Lisa Pannett, St. Louis County conservative activist

“Dave Schatz understands that our way of life and our conservative values are under attack,” Grassroots Co-Chair Robbie Brouk said. “That’s why grassroots conservatives who want a fighter for our values have overwhelmingly joined his team.  I am proud to support Dave and look forward to his conservative leadership in the State Senate.”

Schatz is a lifelong businessman, community leader, and family man.  He lives in Sullivan with his wife Chara, and their children.  He is active in his church and the community.
